Re: Phantom Overheating!
RTFM    Only slightly related to your subject here's on for you, I went for a spin in my MK1 PI (only a few miles) and on the way back it started missing, sometimes really badly and was convinced it was ignition. Got back home and gave the usual suspects a quick check with engine off....

Re: Mk1 windscreen washer tube routing?
That's my plan B. If there is no further advice overnight then it's going to get "the treatment" tomorrow afternoon! Shouldn't need to drill it tho, there has to be one already there but just can't find the illusive bugger
Many thanks Clifford........

Re: Mk1 windscreen washer tube routing?
HboxAperture.jpg Thanks for your response Clifford :) (and there's a big but coming here), BUT, I've looked all around the heater box aperture  and can find no access hole for said washer tube, I have even removed the bonnet latch just in case there is something lurking behind it but another ...

Mk1 windscreen washer tube routing?
Bonjour! I need some help from my fellow Triumph enthusiasts please.......... My Mk1 PI restoration has been ongoing for almost 30 years and it's 99% there. However one job I've been putting off is the tube connections from the washer bottle/pump to the jets on the scuttle? Old age plays tricks on m...

Re: Mk1 Boot Lid seal fitting - advice needed please
Hi Bill / Clifford, Thanks for the advice, I've trawled through all the old posts and can find plenty relating to the fitting of door seals but none for the Mk1 boot lid seal. Anyway, I intend to get inside the boot (when I've earned some browny points with the missus so she lets me out again!) and ...

Mk1 Boot Lid seal fitting - advice needed please
Hi fellow triumphant enthusiasts, I've got to the stage now in my restoration where I need to fit the boot lid seal. Problem is that the original one was removed years ago for spraying and I live in France so don't have access to another Mk1 for reference. So, has anyone got any do's or don'ts pleas...

Re: Decent Mk1 PI Left Hooker - Limoges France
It would be about £600 to get it back to Blighty - I know a guy based near Limoges who makes regular trips to/from the UK transporting cars.
It's a "steal" at 1200 euro's!
