Re: Engine upgrade
Looking at a previous thread, it seems your best bet is to get the head polished and ported, valves and a better camshaft. Then maybe larger carbs.

Re: Engine upgrade
Watching this thread with interest.I’m guessing the quickest and possibly cheapest way would be to swap the lump for a 2.5, and swap over the diff as well. I’d like to keep my engine in place, so maybe getting the engine reconditioned, a hotter camshaft? I’ve already got a super sport CW exhaust. Ca...

Turns out it was the UJ that was knackered. The required parts were ordered from Chris Witor and have been fitted. I now have smooth operational power steering!!

Re: Power steering is getting quite stiff.

Power steering is getting quite stiff.
I’ve noticed it’s getting more difficult to turn the steering wheel recently, especially at low speeds and when the engine is cold. When fully warmed up it is a bit easier, but by no means as easy to turn as it used to do. Is this a sign that I need a new rack? The pump is topped up with fluid so it...

Re: SpeedNOmeter
I have a similar problem, with the speedo constantly wavering around 10/15 mph either side of my correct speed. Time to buy a new angle drive!
