Re: Mk 2 Brake master cylinder.

Pay attention at the back there, Charles  Its a brake master cylinder Alec needs, not a clutch m/c. Here's a new one, Alec, allegedly fits the the Triumph mk2's as well as the Cresta PB/PC, but check the position of the mounting flange. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/vauxhall-cresta-1965-67-pb-to-...

Re: Mk 2 Brake master cylinder.

Alec
Why not try to get another second hand reservoir from Andy Harrison. They are of course separate to the cylinder! Others may have one too.

Re: Anti-siphon valve?

No, the filler goes straight into the tank. Easy to siphon.

It can be fitted 180 degrees (or a half turn) out from how it came off though Charles - I accept not 90 degrees because as you say the holes are offset.
I don't think it can! You can get three bolts in but not four! Could be wrong of course, but I am 90% sure :D

Re: prop

John
The prop can only be fitted on the flange in one position because the bolt holes are at odd spacings, so not a problem if it has not been marked!
