Re: Radiator cap mod
Hello Bernard, "The supplementary is:- Apart from allowing clearance for the radiator cap is there another reason why the radiator has a space between it and the bulkhead?" I don't understand what clearance you are talking about, can you explain further or show a picture? Alec Here is a photo of th...

Re: Radiator cap mod
Thanks for the photo Jonathan, knew I have seen it somewhere. I intend to weld a fitting for the cap in to the existing casting. This will mean that the coolant fills the engine and head, which is probably why the setup was used on the WCR car. My car is Australian build with the fan in front of the...

Radiator cap mod
I want to move my radiator cap to the casting on the front of the head. Why? Its the highest point and seems a sensible place for it and would negate the fitting of a header tank. But why? Well I want to move the radiator forward to give more clearance in the front of the engine for electric fans an...

Re: What happened to-side indicator lenses
Tell us more They are cast in resin. The resin is specified good to 70 degrees C. and will sustain a high polish. Final quality/shape is dependent on the model used to make the mold. The colour can be darker or lighter. The original I used to make the mold had gone opaque so hard to tell the colour...

What happened to-side indicator lenses
What happened to side indicator lenses.
Here is one I just took out of the oven.
It is a left side and I have polished out the external markings.
They can be made lighter or darker.

4 pot squeezers?
I was looking at some four pot break calipers for sale at a reasonable price here in Australia. They would be for my 1977 2500TC.
They are specified for a Land Rover Discovery non vented disk. They certainly look like they will do the job, anyone know if they will?

Story in SIXappeal August 2014
Some members may remember my story about fitting EFI to my car in the August 2014 SIXappeal. Well I eventually managed to find a rolling road that would not compromise my retirement fund. There were many problems on the way, mostly oil leaks, it now sports a new different inlet manifold and air clea...
