Re: Project Pi

Jobs completed over the weekend rear suspension in situ and the front grille and lights installed. Probably obvious but a bit of 8x2 timber helps steady the installation. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1rrrx5jqhbYII1dH_8B0izEDXjZJ5sBYD https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1--LvAy0w1Hwpyexqy_4i19hK2B3occjE...

Re: Engine Identification - Help Needed

As John says above also the 2500 has a double timing chain so the cover is deeper. As I went measure the oil sump it would be easier to dimension this.

Re: Project Pi

Jobs at the weekend rear quarters finished. The vinyl panels have been off the car so long we went to put them back on and they have shrunk. So new ones made and a good match on the grain. https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1FQ87bWQ0maVsERCC1xOTtZySkfkatgvB https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1L6EJuHAlCGe3Ka...

When fitting mine I started by using double sided tape, this was folly in the end we just took the plunge and gl...

Re: Mk1 Pi engine rebuild

Hello Chris happy new year to you. Looking forward to reading future posts on your engine rebuild. I’m going to have to rebuild my Pi engine as wel. It was well seized up, had to knock 3 seized pistons out off the block. Probably going to be a rebore than a honing procedure due to rust pitting in th...

Re: Headlining on Mark 2

Hello Jake I used everbuild contact adhesive on my Valencia Blue, it was ok but further reading I opted for alpha high temperature contact adhesive for the current car. I went for a higher temperature it has been suggested a standard adhesive caused the brown bleed through the material. The alpha ad...
